Sundays

SCROLL DOWN

Sundays

SUNDAYS ARE WHEN THE CHURCH CELEBRATES THE GRACE OF THE GOSPEL TOGETHER AS WE SING, PRAY, HEAR FROM THE SCRIPTURES, AND PARTICIPATE IN THE LORD'S SUPPER AND BAPTISM.

Sunday gathering

10:00am // EVERY SUNDAY

We are a family of diverse believers in Jesus Christ, as well as many who are simply investigating Jesus with us. Come as you are.

CURRENT SERMON SERIES:

THE LETTER TO PHILEMON

This Sunday we'll complete our two week journey through the Apostle Paul's shortest letter, Philemon. Philemon is a simple letter that unites the depth of the gospel to ordinary life, shining a light on how the reality of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection changes everything.

MCC Kids

MCC Kids

Your kids will enjoy fun, interactive and educational times together, reading and learning from the whole Bible, and growing in their understanding of how every part points to Jesus.

MOUNTAIN CITY KIDS

10:00AM // Every Sunday*

At Mountain City Kids, our secure environments are staffed with loving volunteers and our check in system ensures that things like allergies and other special directions are taken seriously.

* The last Sunday of every month is Family Worship Sunday - a time when elementary age kids gather with the adults to worship together. Nursery care is still available.

NURSERY (0 - 4 YEARS OLD)

If you have kids that are 4 years old and under, you can bring them a few minutes before our Sunday gatherings begin. A trained and qualified volunteer will gladly get your children signed up, issue nametags, and give you a unique pick-up slip to help ensure your children's safety and security. Of course, if you want to keep your kids with you for the entire worship gathering, please do!

ELEMENTARY (KINDERGARTEN - 5TH GRADE)

Kids in Kindergarten - 5th grade will explore The Gospel Project for Kids Curriculum together. This is a unique, three-year program that helps ground children in the gospel story from Genesis to Revelation. The curriculum includes age-appropriate illustrations, activities, worship songs and more. Again, if you'd rather your kids stay with you for the whole worship gathering, that's great.

We see Mountain City Kids as a means to help parents introduce their children to God and the gospel and increase their love for both. Their time in the classroom is meant to be a supplement to what you're doing in the home (Deuteronomy 6:7-8, Proverbs 22:6). We encourage you to use the materials your child brings home for family times of growing and learning together.

MCC Youth

MCC Youth

our youth gather to study the Scriptures, spend time talking and praying in small groups, playing games, and hanging out.

MOUNTAIN CITY YOUTH

6:30PM // EVERY WEDNESDAY

We want to see our youth step into their part of God’s story. We want them to love Jesus and know his incredible love for them.

At Mountain City Church, we recognize that middle school and high school are pivotal times in the life of our children. Because of this we have begun to cultivate a place for our middle school and high school students to begin to gather and grow together. Our youth ministry primarily exists to foster a love for Jesus, for one another, and for our friends and neighbors who have yet to follow Christ.

We are God’s family called to devote ourselves to one another in loving relationship, both showing what God is like and calling others to join his family through faith in Jesus Christ

Join OUr Family

To become a covenant member of the Mountain City Church family, we ask that you:

Step 1: Review our Statement of Faith and Membership Covenant

Step 2: Attend our two part seminar covering our Foundations

This is an opportunity to look more in depth at our beliefs, values, mission and vision, and will include a time of Q & A.

Step 3 : Follow Up Interview

One of our elders will contact you to schedule a time to meet in the weeks following our Foundations seminar. This is an opportunity to affirm your understanding of and commitment to the gospel, and review the commitments of our leadership to you, as well as your commitments to the family of believers at Mountain City Church.
